Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Cancellation by Traveler
If a traveler cancels their booking within 5 days of the booking date, they are entitled to a 100% refund of the booking fee.
2. Non-Refundable Tickets and Items
In cases where non-refundable tickets or items are involved (e.g., bus tickets, exclusive tickets), this must be clearly mentioned and included in the booking fee requirement. Travelers should be informed of these conditions before making a booking.
3. Trip Leader Cancellation Policy
Each Trip Leader is required to create a detailed cancellation policy for their trip, which includes the above two policies. This policy should be transparent and easily accessible to all potential travelers.
4. Refund Process
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used by the traveler. The time frame for the refund may vary depending on the payment provider (appx. 5 to 7 days).
5. Trip Cancellations by Trip Leader
If a Trip Leader needs to cancel a trip, they must inform the participants and JYT as soon as possible. A full refund should be provided to the travelers in such cases, unless otherwise specified in the cancellation policy.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In the event of exceptional circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), JYT and the Trip Leader will work together to either reschedule the trip or provide refunds as per the agreed policy.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes regarding cancellations and refunds will be resolved in accordance with the terms set out by JYT. Travelers and Trip Leaders are encouraged to communicate and resolve any issues amicably.
